Used to collect material for the purpose of carrying out a histological / cytological study.
Application area
Esophagogastroduodenoscopy, colonoscopy, bronchoscopy.
Interesting
The forceps can be either with a needle between the cups, and without it. The needle provides more reliable fixation when taking tissue.
