Purpose

The Veresh needle is used to superimpose the primary carboxyperitoneum after the puncture of the anterior abdominal wall in order to provide space for the safe introduction of the first trocar and the subsequent operation of the operator.

The diameter of the Veresk needle is 2.0-2.5 mm. The length is 120-150 mm.
The tool was invented by Janos Veres in 1938.
