The three-day course "Start Surgical Manipulation" is devoted to the very basics of surgical technique, which should become a reliable foundation for further development of surgical skills.

The intensive course program lasting 12 academic hours is designed in such a way that each participant can master the technique of starting surgical manipulations on biological tissues under the supervision of an experienced instructor as soon as possible.

The first lesson is devoted to analyzing the technique of working with various surgical instruments, developing techniques for performing both dactyl and apodactyl methods of forming surgical nodes.
Also, you will become acquainted with the basics of performing local infiltration anesthesia: choice of anesthetic, titration, testing, maximum dose of anesthetics, technique of performance.
Learn the basics and subtleties of surgical access and surgical hemostasis, analyze the typical mistakes.

The purpose of the second lesson is to learn how to choose suture material, to learn the features of its use; To get acquainted with the selection criteria and technique of performing surgical sutures, including surgical skin seam and continuous suture, to work them out on biological tissue under the supervision of an experienced instructor; To disassemble the basics of wound drainage, the choice and requirements for drainage, master the technique of fixing the drainage, study the criteria for wound cover and master the algorithm and technique of removing the joints.

In the third lesson, you will learn the algorithm and technique for correct primary surgical treatment of wounds, analyze the basics of removing surface formations (indications and techniques for performing a linear and elliptical incision), the basics of opening surface phlegmons and abscesses, and the stages of surgical intervention: incision, digital revision, rational drainage.

Most of the course time is devoted to practical work with biological material. This allows for a short time to master the correct technique of working with basic surgical instruments and lay the foundations of the motor stereotype of a future professional skill.

This course will become a reliable foundation for further development of surgical skills in narrower areas of surgery.

For the convenience of students during the academic term, the course Start surgical manipulation in Wetlab takes place in the evening every other day. In summer and during the winter holidays classes are held for 3 consecutive days in the morning.
