Silk - a polyfilament conditionally resorbable suture
Conditionally resorbable polyfilament suture material made from natural protein - fibroin, produced by silkworm.
It is a natural fiber, therefore it has a high probability of developing inflammation and nagnaivaniya wound, to avoid which the threads are subjected to antibacterial treatment and covered with a special coating.
